Axiom Group has many years of experience in designing traditional video distribution systems. A Video Head End is the place where video from all sources (Cable, VCR etc.) is manipulated and then distributed throughout a facility. By manipulation we mean that a video source can be converted to any channel on a Television or any video standard on a computer and then distributed for all to see.

Axiom has designed Bi-Directional Video Systems whereby video is captured, for example in a classroom, sent upstream to the Video Head End and then re-distributed throughout the school for every student to see.

The most important aspect of this type of system is that the video can now be digitized and put on a data network. This opens up doors for things such as Distance Learning and other possibilities that can only be imagined.
